Storing bikes indoors can present a problem. Typically, one bike is leaned against another, making it awkward to extract either without risk of damage to the bike or injury to the cyclist.

A great solution lies in the QMP range of Vertical Bike Racks. Using a patented wheel securing hoop, each bike can be stored vertically. This saves 35-45% of the floor space needed for bike storage which could mean that 12 bikes can be stored vertically in the space needed for nine bikes stored horizontally.

The Vertical Bike Loop stores one bike, mounts to the wall, and comes complete with a security chain to padlock the bike to the wall, with a user-provided padlock. The Single Sided Vertical Bike Rack also holds one bike and is mounted to the wall, as well as coming with a wheel ramp to ensure the rear mudguard on the bike does not get damaged by contact with the ground. The Double Sided Vertical Bike Rack stores two bikes and comes complete with ramps to raise rear mudguards of the ground, and rawl bolts to secure the rack to the ground.

The technique for securing bikes in Vertical Bike Racks is quick and easy to master, as follows:
Ensure wheel securing hoop is at top of runner
    
Apply bike’s rear brake and pull handle bars backwards until bike is vertical
    
      Release rear brake and wheel bike forwards on its back wheel
    
      When the bike meets the wall, slide the hoop down over the bike’s front wheel
    
      Secure bike with padlock and chain if required
